This is why we’re so excited that Perth-based blogger Kim Kine is offering her very first Clearly Curated Collection to get us feeling inspired. If anyone knows how to rock a stylish pair of specs, it’s Kim!
Frame Style: Derek Cardigan 7004 in Fog
Big, bold and a captivating shade of fog-grey. What’s not to love? These frames are perfect for every day wear and make a statement as they stand out from the sea of black hipster-thick rims at Uni. I like pairing these with a messy up-do and ripped boyfriend jeans for a menswear-inspired look.
Frame Style: Derek Cardigan 7027 in Timber
In my opinion, bigger is definitely better. These are my biggest frames to date and choosing them in a natural, woody colour makes them a little more lady-like. Pair these with winged eyeliner and a red lip for an eye-catching juxtaposition between sexy and nerdy.
(This style is unfortunately currently sold out, which just shows what great taste our Style Ambys have! Here’s a similar frame.)

Frame Style: LOVE L756 in Black Silver
These are be the frames I’d go for when I mean business. Still on the larger side, but less in-your-face than the previous frames, these give off a serious impression but are by no means boring. The nose piece adds some height to my nose bridge and the half thick rim frames offer a much more feminine vibe. I would wear these with a sweet floral dress and a cardigan.
Sunnies Style: LOVE L7003S in Tokyo Tortoise
I like to have fun with my sunglasses, and it turns out that every pair of shades I own are large and round. With their retro tortoiseshell pattern and thin arms, these sunnies add a fun, vintage element to every outfit!
