Megan Robinson | Style Ambassador

Megan Robinson

Seeing as fashion editor Megan Robinson from covered New Zealand Fashion Week for us last month rocking our LOVE sunnies, it seemed like a no-brainer to ask the stylish Kiwi to join our ever-growing Style Ambassador series. From using shades to add drama to an outfit, to why she’d like to share a lift with Taylor Swift – we caught up with the brains behind ThreadNZ.

My sunglasses collection consists of: 12 pairs

I chose the pair of sunglasses I’m wearing because: I was drawn to their shape.

A tip on picking out the perfect pair of sunnies is: Take a bit of a risk outside your comfort zone sometimes! Try something new and go for a bit of drama.

Eyewear is an important part of your outfit because: Everyone talks to your eyes so they all notice your glasses – often more than your shoes.

Sunglasses Style: Derek Cardigan Sun 7010 in Grey Haze

My favourite online source for style inspiration is: Advanced Style blog by Ari Seth Cohen in New York City

My favourite fashion trend of the moment is: It’s probably not a current trend but I am loving a blazer with everything.

If I could go on holiday with anyone in the world, it would be: Taylor Swift because she not only looks fun, but she could play the guitar on the beach at night!

I would describe my personal style as: My own style is sort of vintage mixed with new and probably too many accessories at once.

My current style muse is: My grandmother, Sybil.

Favourite city to go shopping is: Definitely London, it is the BEST.

Final word: Kindness.
