NZFW | Eyewear Street Style

Megan Robinson

Have you been keeping up with all the action at New Zealand Fashion Week? If not, don’t worry – Megan Robinson from online mag threadnz.com has got it covered. All week the stylish editor has been rocking our sunglasses while keeping an eye out for all the latest eyewear trends. Over to you, Megan!

As well as keeping an eye on fashion trends, we’ve been noticing some amazing glasses around fashion week, especially at the Huffer offsite show, where we photographed these fashion week attendees in their eyewear.

Whether it’s a classic aviator, or a contemporary style – there’s a huge variety in metal and plastic frames right now. The trend is to have a few pairs to mix and match with your outfits. Here are our favourite looks in and around the fashion shows.

MAC makeup’s Nicole Thompson is over from Australia to create MAC’s faces backstage and her own gorgeous face looked amazing in these incredible cat-eye glasses.

Threadnz.com‘s fashion week photographer James Yang was in FRONT of the camera not BEHIND it for a change, when we snapped him in his eyewear. His glasses feature a contrast metallic arm and black frame.

Maddy Budd is a blogger, student and works at HUFFER and looked fantastic in solid tortoiseshell frames with a cat-eye shape.

Steve Dunstan of HUFFER label told us he bought his very cool frames at a vintage American store in the States while over there. We like.
