Weekly Brand Spotlight | Hardy & GANT Eyewear

With retro-inspired design shapes and features combined with modern materials, Hardy and GANT eyeglasses provide a new twist on the classics.

GANT was first established in 1914 by Bernard Gantmacher, a Ukranian immigrant with the goal of bringing the button-down shirt to North America. As the brand became known for their commitment to high quality and hand tailored details, it expanded to an internationally respected name, and began to include accessories such as the GANT eyewear collection that features handmade acetates and rectangle, round and cat eye shapes.

A newer name in optical, Hardy glasses feature colours, patterns and materials that highlight the intersection of urban and natural environments. These themes are carried through the contrast of warm hues and cool steel. Each frame is crafted of handmade acetate and joined by German titanium spring hinges.
